The Town of Purcellville is accepting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT MAIN STREET AND MAPLE AVENUE – PHASE 2 in the Town of Purcellville, VA.  The project is generally described as improving pedestrian accessibility, traffic operations, and drainage deficiencies along Maple Avenue south of the Main Street intersection.  The project includes, but is not limited to, sidewalk, curb & gutter, storm sewer, new traffic signal head, E&S controls, maintenance of traffic, asphalt paving, permanent signs & pavement markings, and all incidentals related thereto.  This is a federal aid project with a DBE participation requirement of ten percent (10%).  Contractors and first tier subcontractors must be VDOT prequalified. The Scope of Work is more fully set forth in the Bid and Contract Documents, which are available for download from the Town’s Bid Board.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville, VA.  Interested bidders will not be required to attend this meeting in order to be eligible to submit a bid and have it considered.
