   The Town of Purcellville is hosting a holiday market featuring locally handcrafted goods! The market will be at the Bush Tabernacle on Saturday, December 9 from 1 to 6 PM. If you are a local artist or crafter and would like to participate in the Holiday Market in Purcellville, apply before November 30, 2023! The vendor fee is $25 per space.

30. Purcellville Holiday Market - Exhibitor Application Information, Deadlines, Terms & Conditions

    Applications, required supporting documents, and full payment must be received by November 30, 2023. The standard booth space (includes one 8' x 8' space) fee is $25. Online payments include a processing fee. Vendors have the option to pay by check or online, and will be asked to provide a Certificate of Insurance. Applications will be processed as received. The deadline is November 30, 2023 OR when all spaces are filled. 

    Payment information will be emailed to you when your application has been approved.

32. VENDOR AGREEMENT:*

    You must check all boxes.

    1. I understand that vendors may only rent one space.
    2. I understand that I must provide my own table that must not exceed 8' x 8'.
    3. I understand that all displays, tables, and chairs must have rubber tips or coverings on the legs.
    4. I understand that I will be responsible for unloading and loading all items associated with my display.
    5. I understand that I will pay the vendor fee of $25 once my space is confirmed and will pay the fee by cash, check, or credit card when instructions are provided.
    6. I understand that details about the market, including space location and load-in and loud-out information will be provided the week before the market.
    7. I understand that the organizers have a right to approve/deny vendors based on the amount of similar vendors.
    8. I will help promote the market by sharing social media posts, etc.
34. INSURANCE:

    All Exhibitors are required to maintain general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 combined single limits. Coverage is to be on an occurrence basis with an insurer licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The insurer must have an A. M. Best rating of A- or better. The insurer must add the Town as an additional insured by endorsement to the general liability policy. A Certificate of insurance (COI) and the additional insured endorsement shall be provided to the Town by the exhibitor prior to the event evidencing compliance with these insurance requirements. 36. MARKET AGREEMENT AND INDEMNIFICATION:

    The Entrant, by checking the agreement box below,  signature below, hereby agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Town of Purcellville, Virginia, its elected and appointed officials, employees, agents, and successors in interest from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or resulting, directly or indirectly, from the Entrant’s participation in the Purcellville Holiday Market, provided that such claim, damage, loss or expenses is injury no caused by grossly negligent act of omission, or willful misconduct of the Town of Purcellville, Virginia, its elected and appointed officials, of its employees acting within the scope of their employment. This Hold Harmless and Indemnification Clause shall in no way be limited by any financial responsibility or insurance requirements and shall survive the termination of this Holiday Market Form. The Entrant understands that any misrepresentation in this application, deviation from the final approved specifications and activities described herein, or failure to abide by all Federal, State and Local laws, ordinances, policies and procedures may result in the immediate revocation of this approved Market Permit and refusal to issue a permit in the future. The Entrant, by his authorized signature below, hereby authorizes the Town and/or its designee(s) to take photographs, videotape, record, or produce communications for this and/or future events for publicity, promotion, and media coverage.
