Hail to the Trail - Purcellville's Green Expo is hosted by the Tree and Environment Sustainability Committee, and designed to connect people with nature and the environment by talking to local experts, participating in hands-on activities, learning about local organizations, and going on nature walks. Local organizations that are focused on nature and the environment are encouraged to participate to share information about their organization, and to have activities for kids and families. There is no fee to register, and the event is free and open to the public. Hail to the Trail is the Town's annual celebration of Arbor Day and held at the Chapman DeMary Trail. This year's event will be held on Sunday, October 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.

30. WAIVER:

    The Exhibitor/Entrant, by his authorized signature, hereby agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Town of Purcellville, Virginia, its elected and appointed officials, employees, agents and successors in interest from all claims, damages, losses and expenses including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or resulting, directly or indirectly, from the Entrant’s participation in the Purcellville Green Expo – Hail to the Trail, provided that such claim, damage, loss or expense is: (1) attributable to personal injury, bodily injury, sickness, death, or to injury or destruction of property, including the loss of use resulting there from, and (2) not caused by the grossly negligent act or omission, or willful misconduct of the Town of Purcellville, Virginia, its elected and appointed officials, or its employees acting within the scope of their employment. This Hold Harmless and Indemnification Clause shall in no way be limited by any financial responsibility or insurance requirements and shall survive the termination of this Entrant's Application Form.
