PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 27, 2023 — The Purcellville Town Council announced at the July 25, 2023 Town Council Meeting, the current Interim Town Manager for the Town will serve as the Town Manager. Rick Bremseth has served as the Interim Town Manager for the Town of Purcellville since June 26, 2023.
“Council conducted an extensive national search and, in the end, Rick’s exceptional leadership abilities, experience, and demonstrated success in Purcellville led the Council to select him as our permanent Manager. I am excited about our choice and we are looking forward to working with Rick as he takes on this role permanently,” said Mayor Stan Milan.
Bremseth is a retired Navy SEAL with 30 years of service, has a BA in Psychology from the University of CA, Riverside and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Marine Corps War College. He and his wife reside in Round Hill and have two grown sons and four grandchildren.
