PURCELLVILLE POLICE STATION UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS
PURCELLVILLE, Va., March 15, 2023 — The Purcellville Police Department began an expansion and renovation project of the police facility in January, 2023. The renovation is progressing and now requires the administrative offices to close. The closure will be in effect beginning Thursday, March 23, 2023, and is expected to remain in effect until the approximate completion date of September/October, 2023.
While the office is closed, the public may reach the administrative line at 540-338-7422, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In addition, should a member of the public wish to meet with any staff member, appointments can be scheduled to meet at Town Hall located at 221 South Nursery Avenue, Purcellville, Virginia.
Normal patrol operations will continue 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The public may contact the non-emergency dispatch at 703-777-1021 to have an officer respond to their home or business located within Purcellville town limits. The public should continue to dial 9-1-1 for any emergency public safety needs.
Our fingerprinting services are currently suspended until renovations are complete. However, the Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office provides fingerprinting services to all Loudoun County residents at their administrative building in Leesburg, Virginia, as well as at their Western Loudoun, Eastern Loudoun, Dulles South, and Ashburn stations, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
We thank the public in advance for their patience with us as our building undergoes necessary functional and safety-related facility improvements. We look forward to serving our community members in person at our renovated station later this year.
