[ARCHIVED] News Release - Purcellville Arts Council Presents Works by the Artists From the Carver Senior Center

PURCELLVILLE, Va. January 4, 2023 – The Purcellville Arts Council (PAC) is pleased to announce the most recent art display in Town Hall featuring 19 artists from the Carver Senior Center. These artists have all honed their skills under the gentle guidance of renowned artist, Alice Power.  Join members of the PAC on Monday, January 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to view more than 25 works of art, including 10 different depictions of a Franklin Park Sunset, and enjoy light refreshments.  The artwork is on display until January 31, 2023, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. except holidays.

The PAC is pleased to partner with the Carver Senior Center to exhibit creations by several of Alice’s students as part of its Art in Town Hall program.

The first-floor corridors of Town Hall have a gallery-caliber hanging system which creates an opportunity for local artists to exhibit their work.  Art exhibitions in Town Hall help ensure that all members of the public have access to art.  The PAC is accepting submissions for future shows.
