PURCELLVILLE, Va. August 11, 2022 — Beginning the week of August 15th, the Public Works Maintenance Division will be installing traffic control signage and pavement markings on Mayfair Crown Drive. This will include a four-way stop and pedestrian crosswalks at the intersection of Dunraven Way and Mayfair Crown Drive, and “No Parking” signs will be installed on the north side of Mayfair Crown Drive from Purcellville Road to Pencoast Drive.
Flagging and alternating single lanes of traffic will be occurring between the hours of 8:00am and 3:00pm. Residents are asked to drive with caution in the work zones, watch for turning or stopping vehicles, be alert to entering and exiting construction traffic, and watch for changes in traffic patterns in areas where the work is being performed.
Variable electronic message boards will be posted to alert residents and motorists about this work.
