PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 11, 2022 — Purcellville, VA – The Purcellville Wine and Food Festival will be held this Saturday, July 16 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Dillon’s Woods at the historic Fireman’s Field Complex. This annual festival is a celebration of local wine and food, and is expected to draw wine lovers from the D.C. Metropolitan area to the heart of Loudoun’s wine country.
This year’s festival will showcase more than 30 vendors. Participating wineries include 8 Chains North Winery, Bozzo Family Vineyards, Bluemont Vineyards, Breaux Vineyards, Carriage House Wineworks, Creek’s Edge Winery, Dry Mill Vineyards & Winery, Endhardt Vineyards, Two Twisted Posts Winery, and Winchester Cidery. Food purveyors include 1000 Shakes, Bar Therapy, Chick-Fil-A Purcellville, Ford’s on the Road, Great Country Farms, Greenisland Bakery, Lady K’s Café, Roaming Bistro, What the Heck Barbeque, and Yummyworks. Additional vendors will be on site to enhance the festival experience, including American Legion Post 293 which will sell beer. Entertainment will include live music, face painting, caricature drawings, corn hole, kan jam, and carnival games.
General admission tickets may be purchased online through July 15th for $5. All tickets sold at the gate will be $10. Children ages 16 and under get in free. For those 21 and older, admission includes a souvenir wine glass. Consider making your festival visit a weekend stay!
