PURCELLVILLE, Va. June 9, 2022 —The Mayor has called a special meeting of the Purcellville Town Council on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville. This meeting will be held concurrently with the Planning Commission’s regular meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to receive from Town and County staff, an overview of land development applications submitted to the Town by Loudoun County. The applications affect a 70 ± acre portion of property located adjacent to Woodgrove High School, near Mayfair Crown Drive. The applications seek two special use permits: (1) a special use permit for a 260-space commuter parking lot, and (2) a special use permit for 5 new public recreational fields. This meeting is for informational purposes; no action will be taken at this meeting.
