Purcellville, VA., April 18, 2022 – The Purcellville Music & Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, April 30th from noon to 7 p.m., rain or shine. This free, family-friendly event, held on the grounds of Dillon’s Woods and inside the Bush Tabernacle at 250 South Nursery Avenue, will feature live music, an art exhibit, children’s activities, local vendors, as well as food, beer, and wine. Multiple stages will offer day-long entertainment coordinated by the Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, including main stage headliners: Chris Timbers, Sheltered, Hard Swimmin’ Fish, Juliana MacDowell, and King St.
The Purcellville Art Council will transform the Historic Bush Tabernacle into the festival’s Art Hall where there will be more than 60 pieces of art from over 30 local artists. The Art Hall will also include art demonstrations, community art projects, live music, and information about local art organizations. The Purcellville Arts Council is also creating a festival scavenger hunt and those who complete it will have a chance to win a prize.
In addition to the music and arts, those who come to the festival will enjoy games, face painting, glitter tattoos, sidewalk chalk art, and t-shirt decorating. Handcrafted jewelry, candles, wooden items, skincare items, and more will be available for purchase, and several local organizations will have displays and information. Attendees will also be able to purchase food and drink on the festival grounds. The Western Loudoun Farmers Market will remain open until 5 p.m. to add to the festivities.
