November 12, 2021 — The Town of Purcellville is gearing up for a festive holiday season, and invites residents, business owners, and local artisans to participate in the parade, the holiday market, and in the holiday lights tour. Get details and links to register below. Applications and registrations for the parade, the market, and the lights tour are due November 30.
Christmas in Purcellville Parade – Apply by November 30
Be part of this year’s parade which will be held Saturday, December 11 starting at noon! There is no cost to be in the parade. This year’s theme is Holidays on Screen, so decorate your car, truck, or float like your favorite holiday movie or television special, or just get dressed up like the characters and walk. To be in the parade, complete and submit the online application by November 30.
Holiday Market at Purcellville Town Hall – Apply by November 30
Local artisans are invited to be part of this year’s Holiday Market at Purcellville Town Hall. Space is limited, so register soon. The Holiday Market will be held after the parade on Saturday, December 11 from 1 to 8 p.m. The cost is $25 per indoor space and $10 per outdoor space. Apply online by November 30.
Holiday Lights Tour – Sign Up by November 30
If you decorate for the holidays, put your home or business on the map – the Holiday Lights Tour Map! This popular activity encourages residents and visitors to drive around Purcellville to see the breathtaking and joyful decorations throughout town. Members of the Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will view the decorations the week after Thanksgiving to determine the route. To have your home or business included on the map, apply online.
