PURCELLVILLE, Va., August 18, 2021 — The Purcellville Town Council has scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Ave. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and take action on the previously held public hearing pertaining to a proposed ordinance for the special election to fill vacancy on Town Council and permanent change in polling place for town elections. The Town of Purcellville will recommend all persons regardless of vaccination status to wear face masks while inside Town Hall in a renewed effort to reduce levels of community transmission of COVID-19.
