NATIONAL NIGHT OUT: TUESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2021
An Evening outside with Neighbors and Law Enforcement

PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 21, 2021 —On August 3, 2021, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., neighbors throughout Purcellville and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement. Each year the Purcellville Police Department, and other local first responders caravan through town stopping in 4-5 neighborhoods that are hosting block parties and cookouts. Key stops include Giant parking lot at 5:30 pm for lineup and a free picnic, Purcellville Library at 6:30 pm for games and activities, and Loudoun Valley Community Center for an Ice Cream Social at 8:00 pm.
Neighborhoods throughout Purcellville are invited to join, the over 38 million neighbors across 16 thousand communities, from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide; to participate in National Night Out (NNO). NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work. Together, we are making that happen. If you would like your neighborhood to be added to the list of stops, please contact Ms. Christa Kermode at 540-338-7422, Monday-Friday at the PPD Administrative line by Wednesday, July 28th. All Purcellville neighbors are welcome to join us at t the three key stops along the National Night route.
