[ARCHIVED] News Release - Town Wide Paving June 14th Update

PURCELLVILLE, Va.  June 10, 2021 — Beginning on or around June 14, 2021, the Town’s Contractor, Stuart M. Perry, will be conducting milling and paving operations on the following streets:  9th Street, South Orchard Drive, and Holly Lane, and the Town water tower off North Maple Avenue.

The work will generally occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  During working hours traffic flow may be affected by flagging operations, temporary closures to through traffic, and trucks and equipment entering and exiting the work area. Parking along the affected streets will also be restricted during paving.  Total time to complete the milling and paving operations is anticipated to take approximately 2 weeks. In case of inclement weather or unforeseen events, this schedule may change.  

Please be aware of work zones and be alert for changes in vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns in areas where work is being performed.
