PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 31, 2020 —As a reminder the Town Manager extended the 2020 property tax due date from June 5th to June 22, 2020. In recognition of the difficult financial impact of the COVID-19 emergency, the Town Manager further deferred all penalties through August 5, 2020.
All payments received after August 5th, will be subject to a 10% late penalty.
The Town offers a number of easy options for paying bills:
- Payments can be dropped in the secure 24 hour drop box at Town Hall on the south side of the building (adjacent to J Street)
- By Mail: 221 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA 20132
- Postmarks by August 5th are accepted as paid on time. Payments postmarked after August 5th, 2020 will incur a 10% late payment penalty.
