PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 21, 2020— The Town of Purcellville’s contractor, Phillip C. Clarke Electrical Contractor, Inc., will be performing traffic signal upgrades and replacements at the intersections of E. Main Street and Hatcher Ave. and W. Main Street and 23rd Street. The traffic signal upgrades and replacements will begin on Thursday, July 23, 2020 through Friday, July 24, 2020, weather permitting. To conduct the traffic signal upgrades and replacements, the contractor will be utilizing flagging operations and have alternating single lanes of traffic. Flagging and alternating single lanes of traffic will be occurring between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
Residents are asked to drive through the area with caution, be aware of work zones, watch for turning or stopped vehicles, entering and exiting construction traffic, and be alert for changes in traffic patterns in areas where the work is being performed.
