PURCELLVILLE, Va. - June 18, 2020 – The Town has made it possible for Aperiomics to provide testing to citizens tomorrow, Friday, June 19, 2020, from 9am to 7pm outside the former Rite Aid location (801 E. Main Street, Purcellville) on the corner of East Main Street and Ken Culbert Jr. Road, in Purcellville.
Aperiomics will be administering both RT-PCR Tests for active infection along with IgM/IgG Antibody tests for COVID antibodies. Both tests can be performed quickly, with results returned in 12-72 hours. By looking for both current infections and developed antibodies, public health officials can achieve a more complete picture of how the virus has spread in the community, including who may have previously been exposed and recovered.
Participants in this event will pay $150 for both virus and antibody testing. Those tested will get a superbill that can be submitted for potential insurance reimbursement if they meet medical guidelines for reimbursable testing. Aperiomics will bill Medicare for participants who have Medicare.
Please contact Amber King, Director of Clinical Sales, Aperiomics at 703-229-0406x809 or 540-219-5241 with any questions you may have.
