POLICE INVESTIGATE SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT 

 

PURCELLVILLE, Va. June 15, 2020 — The Purcellville Police Department was called today to investigate an incident which occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020 in the 400 block of Autumn Chase Court.  The victim stated she heard a loud noise at her residence during the previously mentioned time frame, but was unable to locate the source or cause of the noise.  However, yesterday, the home owner noticed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the side of her residence.  Upon further examination by the home owner, a bullet was discovered inside the home in a spare bedroom.  Fortunately the room was unoccupied, and no one was injured during the incident.  The incident is currently being investigated in conjunction with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
