PURCELLVILLE, Va. January 24, 2020 — The Purcellville Police Department is conducting a survey open to all Town of Purcellville residents as well as business owners and their employees. The purpose of the survey is to solicit feedback from residents and businesses about crime, quality of life issues, and opinions about the department’s effectiveness of law enforcement services provided. They are asking the members of the community for five or ten minutes of their time to complete the survey. The results will be used to enhance policing services and to direct the department as they strive to provide the most responsive, cost efficient, and professional police services possible.
The survey is available online via survey monkey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/PPDsurvey2020, accessible via the Town of Purcellville website (www.purcellvilleva.gov), or in hard copy form available at the Purcellville Police Station located at 125 Hirst Road, Suite 7A, and at the Purcellville Town Hall at 221 South Nursery Ave. A notice for the survey is also included in the comment section located on the February water bill for town residents. In addition, officers will also have copies of the survey available to hand out during their foot patrols, business checks, and PPD community outreach events.
Town residents, business owners, and their employees are requested to complete the survey online or turn in their completed forms to the PPD station or Town Hall by COB Friday, February 21, 2020 to be counted in the results.
The Purcellville Police Department would like to thank you in advance for your participation in this survey and we look forward to sharing the results upon completion and analyzation. Your engagement is greatly appreciated.
