PURCELLVILLE, Va. January 22, 2020 — Monday, January 27th to Wednesday, January 29th, the Town’s contractor Accumark, Inc. will be conducting subsurface investigations on Hatcher Avenue. The investigations will include test holes to verify the location and depth of existing utilities under Hatcher Avenue. Results from the investigations will be used in advancing the design of the Hatcher Avenue Sidewalk Improvements project. This project is being funded through VDOT Revenue Sharing and NVTA funds.
The Contractor will be utilizing traffic cones and signs as necessary to conduct the work and guide traffic around the work. Traffic will be maintained at all times, but flaggers may be used as needed.
Please be aware of work zones and alert for changes in vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns in areas where work is being performed.
This work schedule may be extended or revised in the event of inclement weather or unforeseen events.
