[ARCHIVED] News Release - Christmas Parade To Be Delayed Until 1:00 PM

PURCELLVILLE, Va. (December 13, 2019) — The start time for the Christmas in Purcellville Parade, scheduled for tomorrow, December 14, will be delayed one hour, starting at 1 p.m. This delay is in consideration of the anticipated volume of rain expected to move through the area tomorrow mid-day.

As a result of the delay in the parade, minor modifications have been made to
Santa’s schedule:

  • Pictures with Santa at the Train Station will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and
    2:00 to 3:00 PM
  • Santa will be available at the Tabernacle 4:00 to 6:00 PM for pictures.

As a reminder, there are several other holiday festivities in Purcellville on Saturday, December 14. At the Purcellville Train Station, there is an ornament workshop and tree decorating from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. At the Bush Tabernacle, there is the Christmas Market from 1 to 8 p.m., along with the Lego train display, face painting, food, local drinks, and live performances.
