PURCELLVILLE, VA. December 2, 2019 — The holiday season is here and the Town of Purcellville would like to invite you to participate in our hometown festivities.
November 6 to December 9—Toys for Tots
The Town of Purcellville has set up Toys for Tots donation boxes in three locations. Toys for Tots is a national charitable organization run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. If you would like to participate, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to Town Hall Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Purcellville Police Department, Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or the Bush Tabernacle on weekends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through December 9.
November 29—Christmas Tree Sales
The Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company is selling Christmas trees Wednesday to
Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. and weekends, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until sold out. For more information, visit www.PurcellvilleFire.org.
December 6 — Christmas in Purcellville Town Tree Lighting
Join us to kick off the holiday season with the lighting of the Town Christmas Tree at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6! We will have light refreshments and entertainment. Bundle up, and bring your friends and family to Purcellville Town Hall at 221 South Nursery Avenue. This is a great chance to participate in the Toys for Tots campaign! December 7—Winter Roller Skate Party
The Town of Purcellville and Shaun Alexander Enterprises a pleased to present a Winter Roller Skate Party at the Bush Tabernacle on Saturday, December 7 from 7 to 11 p.m. The Bush Tabernacle is located at 205 S. Nursery Ave in Purcellville. Loudoun DJ will play a mix of holiday favorites along with songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. December 14 & 15— Christmas in Purcellville Holiday Lights Tours
The Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is pleased to host the annual Holiday Lights Tours again this year. The tours will leave from the Bush Tabernacle at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. both evenings. Tickets for the free tours will be available to pick up 30 minutes before each tour. December 20 & 21—Santa Rides Through Town
The Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company will be giving Santa a ride through Purcellville on December 20 and 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. both nights. For more information, visit www.PurcellvilleFire.org.
