PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 12, 2019 — Beginning the evening of July 12, 2019, the intersection of S. 32nd Street (also known as Silcott Springs Road or Route 690) and A Street will begin to operate as a single-lane roundabout. This new traffic pattern is part of the Town’s project “32nd & A Street Intersection Improvements,” which is being funded by VDOT Revenue Sharing funds and NVTA funds.
As the intersection is still under construction, temporary signs and markings will be in place when the Town’s contractor is not working. During working hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM), please follow the flaggers’ directives.
Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the summer, but in case of inclement weather or unforeseen events, this schedule may change.
Please be aware of work zones and be alert for changes in vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns in areas where work is being performed.
