PURCELLVILLE, Va. July 11, 2019— The Town of Purcellville’s Contractor, Alternative Paving Solutions, will be installing decorative crosswalk markings on 21st and 23rd Streets. The crosswalk marking work will begin on Monday, July 15, 2019 through Wednesday, July 17, 2019, weather permitting. To conduct the crosswalk marking operations, the contractor will be utilizing flagging operations and have alternating single lanes of traffic occurring between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Local residents are asked to be aware of work zones, drive through with caution, watch for turning or stopping vehicles, entering and exiting construction traffic, and to be alert for changes in traffic patterns in areas where the paving is being performed.
