[ARCHIVED] News Release - Christmas Parade Rescheduled for Saturday, December 22

PURCELLVILLE, VA—December 17, 2018

The Town of Purcellville is pleased to announce that its Christmas parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 22 from noon to approximately 1:30 p.m. The parade will start at Loudoun Valley High School, turn right onto Main Street, then right onto North 21st Street and conclude just past the Purcellville Train Station at the Vulcan Concrete Plant. Due to record-breaking rainfall, the decision to cancel the December, 15th Christmas parade was made for the safety of all the participants and attendees.

Remember that the Purcellville Economic Development Committee is hosting a Christmas Parade Float Contest with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes donated by Purcellville Chick-Fil-A, Magnolias at the Mill, and Dunkin Donuts. Members of EDAC will judge the floats and decide the winners.
