PURCELLVILLE, Va. November 14, 2018 — With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Loudoun Valley DECA Chapter is kicking off its “Do Good to Feel Good Food and Funds Drive” today. The team asks for the community’s assistance in collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for Tree of Life Ministries’ Thanksgiving Together dinner (free of charge) on Thursday, November 22nd from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 37018 Glendale Street, Purcellville.
To help local families in need, look out for our caravans canvasing neighborhoods! As a secondary option, DECA asks for the community to drop off their donations at the Loudoun Valley High School lobby at: 340 N. Maple Ave, Purcellville, VA 20132 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday through Friday, November 16th. Students, faculty, staff, and the Town Council will be out in the Purcellville neighborhoods on Saturday, November 17th, starting at 12:00 PM making door to door collections.
