PURCELLVILLE, VA November 9, 2018—The Town of Purcellville’s Contractor, USCI is currently in the process of renovating the elevated water tower. The tentative schedule includes sand blasting, priming, and painting to be completed by mid-November, 2018. Disinfection and sampling of the interior should be complete by mid-December, 2018.

The next phase will be structural upgrades which includes the installation of sway rods and an exterior ladder completed by the end of February. The exterior sand blasting and priming should be completed by April, 2019. The exterior intermediate coat of paint, exterior finish coat, and logo should be completed by May, 2019. The work will in no way impact delivery of quality water to our residents and businesses throughout the work period.
