PURCELLVILLE, Va. January 31, 2018 — The Town’s website, www.purcellvilleva.gov, has been updated to include an expenditure summary of the Town’s independent investigations. Transparency is an important Core Value of the Town Purcellville. In maintaining the principles of that Core Value, the Town is committed to providing bi-weekly updates regarding costs associated with the ongoing investigations, as they are incurred and are made available.
A link to the latest summary is located at “Hot Topics and Important Issues” under the Town’s ‘Government’ tab. While a portion of the expenditures are expected to be offset by staff vacancies and other operational savings, all investigation related costs are provided to ensure the citizens of Purcellville have access to the latest accounting details.
