PURCELLVILLE, Va. (January 18, 2017) — The Town of Purcellville will be taking its 200,000 gallon storage tank off line for unanticipated repairs beginning January 19. The water storage tank, located near Loudoun Valley High School will be drained and repaired temporarily reducing the Town’s storage capacity. While the tank is out of service Town staff will be working to produce additional water ensuring that the Town’s 1,000,000 storage tank located on Short Hill Road will be filled and available. During the two week period that the tank is off line residents should notice little difference in service and there will be no impact on water quality.
