PURCELLVILLE, VA. (OCTOBER 24, 2017) — The period for public comment on the Draft Purcellville Comprehensive Plan Update has been extended and will remain open until Friday, November 3, 2017. Community members are encouraged to submit feedback prior to the close of the comment period on November 3, 2017.
The Comprehensive Plan is an important set of policies and goals that guide the future development of the Town. Purcellville’s current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in December 2006 and looks forward to the year 2025. This Plan Update, currently underway, will incorporate changes the Town has already seen over the past decade and reflect Purcellville’s vision for the Town into the future. Input from community members is essential in the comprehensive planning process.
The latest Draft Plan is available at the following locations:

- At Town Hall, 221 Nursery Avenue, Purcellville
- At the Purcellville Public Library, 220 E Main Street, Purcellville
This Draft is the culmination of numerous meetings, workshops, and events that have occurred over the past several years. As we enter the home stretch of the process, the Planning Commission is seeking feedback on the latest Plan Update from members of the community. An Open House for community members was held on October 21, 2017 at Town Hall. Community members who were unable to attend the open house, but still wish to comment are encouraged to do so. Feedback on the Draft Comprehensive Plan Update can be submitted one of two ways:

- Completing a written comment form at Town Hall, 221 Nursery Avenue, Purcellville
