PURCELLVILLE, Va. October 23, 2017—The Town of Purcellville’s Contractor, Stuart M. Perry will be performing milling and paving work on Devonshire Circle. The milling work is expected to begin on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 and the paving work will begin on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 lasting until Friday, October 27th, 2017, weather permitting. To prepare for the milling and paving, local residents are asked to remove their vehicles, basketball hoops, trash cans, and other personal property from the streets the night of Wednesday, October 25th. To conduct the milling and paving operations, the contractor will be utilizing flagging operations and have alternating single lanes of traffic. Flagging and alternating single lanes of traffic will be occurring between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
Local residents are asked to be aware of work zones, drive through with caution, watch for turning or stopping vehicles, entering and exiting construction traffic, and to be alert for changes in traffic patterns in areas where the paving is being performed.
