As we enter the final stages of adoption, the Planning Commission is seeking feedback on the latest Plan Update from members of the community. Feedback on the Plan can be provided one of two ways:
- Complete Online Survey by visiting http://planpurcellville.com/get-involved/survey/
- Attend an Open House Session on October 21, 2017 at Town Hall
The open house will be held at Purcellville Town Hall, located at 221 Nursery Avenue, in Purcellville Virginia.
October 21, 2017 (Saturday)
Session #1 – 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
Session #2 – 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M.
at Town Hall
Community members are encouraged to attend one of the two available sessions. Both sessions will follow an identical format consisting of self-guided poster presentations with the opportunity for participants to provide written feedback and comments and to speak with staff and commission members. Participant feedback will further guide the Planning Commission’s effort on the Plan Update.
The Comprehensive Plan is an important set of policies and goals that guide the future development of the Town. Purcellville’s current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in December 2006 and looks forward to the year 2025. The Plan Update (currently underway) will incorporate changes the Town has already seen over the past decade and reflect Purcellville’s vision for the Town into the future. Input from community members is essential in the comprehensive planning process.
More information is available on the Plan Update Website (www.planpurcellville.com/) and on the Town of Purcellville’s Comprehensive Planning Page (www.purcellvilleva.gov/593/Comprehensive-Planning). Any questions about this open house or the Plan Update effort may be directed to Erin Goodrich, Senior Planner.
If you require any type of reasonable accommodation as a result of physical, sensory or mental disability in order to participate in this meeting, please contact Erin Goodrich at least three days in advance of the meeting.
