PURCELLVILLE, Va. May 30, 2017 — On Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Town of Purcellville will be holding a public informational meeting on the Nursery Avenue Roadway & Drainage Improvements project. Copies of the 90% design documents will be available for review, and personnel will be on hand to answer questions at that time. The public informational meeting will be held at Purcellville Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville, VA.
The project location is Nursery Avenue, between South 20th Street to just north of School Street. The project will improve drainage issues, sidewalks, and parking in the area. It proposes a network of stormwater pipes and inlets, culvert replacement, curb and gutter replacement, reconstruction of sidewalks, roadway mill and overlay, and a designated on-street parking area. The project is being funded by a grant from VDOT and is identified as VDOT UPC#105581.
