PURCELLVILLE, Va. February 28, 2017- During the week of 2/27/17 and continuing through 6/16/17 VDOT’s contractor, The Traffic Group, Inc., will be installing traffic counters throughout the Town of Purcellville to collect data. The traffic information to be collected by these counts is very important for management of the road network and required reporting of traffic volume information to the Federal government. You will notice long tubes across the roadways along with boxes on the side of the road. Each device will be tagged that it is a VDOT device, along with contact numbers for issues.
