PURCELLVILLE, Va. February 22nd, 2017 — The Town of Purcellville reminds business owners to renew their business licenses for 2017. The annual filing and payment deadline is Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Business owners should report their calendar year 2016 gross receipts and pay the applicable license tax.
The Town offers a number of options for paying bills:
- Forms and payments can be dropped in the secure 24 hour drop box at Town Hall on the south side of the building (adjacent to J Street)
- In person during business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekdays.
- By mail: 221 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA 20132
- Postmarks by March 1st are accepted as paid on time. Payments postmarked after March 1st will incur a 10% late payment penalty.
