[ARCHIVED] News Release - Kitty Dugay's Retirement

PURCELLVILLE, Va. December 12, 2016 - Mrs. Catherine “Miss Kitty” Dugay will be retiring from the Purcellville Police Department on January 4, 2017. She has served as the Administrative Assistant/Records Manager for the Department since July of 1998. She was the first administrative support hired by the Department and originally came on as a part time employee for her first year. She is the longest tenured member of the Purcellville Police. During her 18 ½ year career, she has worked with four Police Chiefs, has seen the Department triple in size, and she was instrumental in the relocation of the Department 11 years ago.

We will be honoring her service at a retirement ceremony on January 4, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Council Chambers at the Purcellville Town Hall located at 221 S. Nursery Ave, Purcellville, Virginia 20132.
