First published in 2008, the Purcellville, Virginia, 1908-2008: A Centennial Anthology was edited by Purcellville historian Dr. Deborah A. Lee. Charming introductions throughout the book provide perspective and narrative flow to the collections of personal memoirs and tributes, historical essays, poetry, recipes, photographs, and artwork by and about past & present residents of the Town. Each section provides detail on life and change in the Town and offers the reader the opportunity for a deeper understanding of what makes Purcellville unique.
Books are for sale at the Purcellville Town Hall Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and during the Town Hall Open House on December 10, 2016 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (cash or check only).
