PURCELLVILLE, Va. September 30, 2016—The Town of Purcellville will be changing out the carbon at the Main Street Village Filter Building at 220 McDaniel Drive on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 8 AM to mid afternoon. A large vacuum truck will be gaining access to the site and will produce some noise during the actual transfer. A hose will be run from the hydrant across the roadway from the filter building. This is part of our annual regular filter maintenance at the Main Street Treatment Facility. Water quality in the area will not be affected.
