Water Restriction Update - 9/21/2007

Text below taken from the 9/21/07 Press Release entitled "Water Restriction Update".

The Town of Purcellville would like to remind all residents and business owners that the Town is still in the Mandatory Water Restrictions stage due to the critical low level of the reservoir and continued drought conditions. The Town appreciates and recognizes the residents and business community for their efforts in conserving water during this challenging period. The combination of continued below normal precipitation levels and increased demand due to the Loudoun County Schools being back in session is producing significant strain on the Town’s ability to meet demand. The Town requests that residents continue their compliance efforts with the mandatory water restrictions and refrain from all voluntary water usage including, but not limited to, watering lawns and washing cars.
