In partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), the Purcellville Police Department will host the fall bi-annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each year, the Purcellville Police Department collaborates with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the "Take-Back" initiative. The initiative seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft by providing a safe, convenient and responsible means for disposing of prescription drugs.  The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Individuals may turn in their unused or expired prescription medication for safe disposal at the Purcellville Police Station located at 125 Hirst Road, Suite 7A, Purcellville, Virginia. 

Once again, the Purcellville Police Department is pleased to partner with the Prevention Alliance of Loudoun (PAL) to help provide free, additional safety items to help prevent drug abuse. PAL is a coalition comprised of diverse community stakeholders dedicated to mental health awareness and substance misuse prevention efforts in Loudoun County.
