Drug Take Back Event

Each year, the Purcellville Police Department collaborates with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the "Take-Back" initiative. The initiative aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs; while also educating the public about the potential for abuse and theft of medications. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Note: Medical "sharps," such as needles and syringes, are not accepted at Take Back events.
