The Purcellville Police Department (PPD) strives to provide law enforcement services in partnership with the community. Our Crime Prevention focuses on working in collaboration with our community members by providing them tools to help deter crime and criminals, through a proactive approach. As well as providing our community with 24 hour/ 365 days, a year patrol coverage.
Did you know that PPD, also offers House Checks to residents? While the frequency of the House Checks depend on staffing availability and cannot 100% prevent the intentional criminal acts of other people, it does help give piece of mind to those traveling out of the area for an extended period of time. Upon completion, residents may either drop off the hard copy during regular business hours Monday- Friday, 8:30 am- 4:30 pm or scan and email the completed form back to the PPD.
