The First Responders' Memorial is located near the Bush Tabernacle (250 S. Nursery Ave in Purcellville). It is comprised of a steel beam from Tower Two of the World Trade Center in New York, and a base of stone from a barn near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The annual 9/11 Remembrance ceremony is held here. The memorial was dedicated on September 11, 2011.
