9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

The Town of Purcellville’s Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony honors local first responders and the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The 2023 ceremony will started at 6:30 p.m. at the First Responders Monument near the historic Bush Tabernacle located at 250 South Nursery Avenue.  The 9/11 monument in Purcellville was dedicated in 2011. The steel beam on the top of the monument is a piece of Tower Two of the World Trade Center and the base is comprised of stone from a barn near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
