News Release - Police Report

PURCELLVILLE, Va. April 21, 2017 - 

04/13/2017 – 01:07a.m. 100 Blk. N. 16th St. Assault

Police were called to the scene of a fight but on arrival, found no activity. An apartment was checked and two individuals with signs of minor injury were located and admitted that they had been fighting earlier over loud music being played. Neither party wanted to pursue criminal charges against each other.

04/14/2017 – 12:32p.m. 100 Blk. N. 16th St. Domestic Dispute

The complainant reported that an ex-boyfriend had moved out from his residence a few weeks ago but is continually contacting him by social media and harassing him. The complainant was advised what procedures to follow to hopefully end the harassment.

04/14/2017 – 10:13p.m. 400 Blk. McDaniel Destruction of Property

The complainant reported damage to his property.

04/15/2017 – 10:37a.m. 100 Blk. Upper Brook Terrace Destruction of Property

Police were notified of spray painted graffiti in the area of a construction site. The developer was notified to clean up the graffiti and extra patrol will be increased after hours.

04/16/2017 – 04:52p.m. 100 Blk. Purcellville Gateway Dr. Drunk in Public

Daniel Kreitzer, a 43 year old male of Purcellville, was arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held until sober.

04/18/2017 – 04:07a.m. 700 Blk. E. Main St. Check the Welfare

Police were contacted about a suspicious juvenile that was hanging out at a business after hours. Investigation determined that the juvenile was a runaway from a youth shelter in Stafford, Va. Arrangements were made to transport the juvenile back to the facility.
